Latest Tomb Rider Interactive Map
As an avid Tomb Raider fan and self proclaimed junkie, the location has actually been somewhat disclosed. Karl Stewart said that it takes place in The Dragon's Triangle off the coast of Japan (We also hear Lara say this in the latest Crossroads trailer). In the Official Tomb Raider Forums, numerous members have discussed and plotted approximate points on google maps based on hints from the 2011 E3 trailer and have found the general area. Through research, the Dragon's triangle does indeed exist and it is off the coast of Japan. It makes sense with Lara's intention to find the lost fleet of The Kublai Khan.
As for the genre, I don't disagree with what was said on here, however I feel that this is an action-adventure game with survival horror elements,Lara Croft, one of video game's most iconic heroines and adventurer, is back in an all-new tale by developer Crystal Dynamics, titled Tomb Raider. This game visits a period of the franchise previous unexplored - specifically, Lara's days before she became a hard bitten treasure hunter and "tomb raider". combined with Tomb Raider's puzzle formula.
